Opening on February 28, 2024, the Pilar Pobil Legacy Foundation, in partnership with the Utah Cultural Celebration Center, presents Pilar Pobil’s retrospective art show, Mi Vida – My Art. The multi-media, multi-dimensional exhibit will run through May 29, 2024, at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center. Utah art lovers are well acquainted with paintings and sculptures by Pilar Pobil. A Utah treasure born in 1926 and raised in Mallorca, Spain, she is self-taught in the mediums of acrylic, watercolor, oil, and clay. Pilar’s art adorns furniture, doors, shoes, and textiles and spills into her garden. She is also the author of the award winning book, My Kitchen Table: Sketches from my Life.
